Artificial Intelligence (AI) : AI is the broad field of creating intelligent machines that can mimic human cognitive functions. It encompasses tasks like problem-solving, learning, perception, and language understanding. AI systems aim to simulate human intelligence and can be categorized into Narrow AI, designed for specific tasks, and General AI, which would possess human-like cognitive abilities across various domains.

Machine Learning (ML) : ML is a subset of AI that focuses on enabling machines to learn and make decisions from data. Instead of being explicitly programmed, ML algorithms improve their performance over time through experience. Key types of ML include supervised learning (learning from labeled data), unsupervised learning (finding patterns in unlabeled data), and reinforcement learning (learning by interaction).
